These filters prevent white dust from collecting in your Crane humidifiers and even helps reduce the growth of mold and bacteria. When used properly and replaced every 1-2 months (30-40 tank fillings), the Universal Demineralization Filter can greatly extend the lifetime of your Crane humidifier.
