Honestly I took back two different cushions before getting this one. A highly reviews curved one with a whole for the spine made of memory foam that just felt annoyingly bouncy like a marshmellow, and another one that was 2 inches thick and felt alright but the dimensions were too small and they lied about them.So on to this one -- it's nice and wide, solid dimensions, and will likely cover a lot of chairs completely. It's 3 inches thick but isn't overly firm or overly soft in my opinion. It's the goldilocks zone for me. It also looks really nice, has a washable cover, and the bottom keeps it on the seat well. So yeah, I'm very happy with it and you probably will be as well. Oh and one other thing -- it didn't have any chemical smells which some do -- I'm pretty sensitive, and no issues here! :-]I have tried many cushions and this one is by far the best. It's red velvet cover is attractive and durableThis cushion is heavenly!!!! I work from home (8 hr shifts) and then game every night for at least 6-7 hrs. This cushion put me back at the right height, so my back is getting proper support from my old chair. (I had purchased a back support pillow that I can now get rid of, Yay!) I'm always super comfortable, no more pain in the rear, no back pain, I can still put my feet on the ground, I can sit curled up for gaming. I'm 5'5 and 130lbs. I'll update later on longevity but so long as it's decent, I'll very happily just buy another cushion! (I've been rotating it 90 degrees every day in hopes of evening out the wear) ...... wonder if they make cushions for office chair arms??Good product, just as advertised. Very comfortable and provides perfect support. Planning to purchase a second cushion.Chair cushion is very comfortable. Using it in my recliner.This pillow is very comfortable. I'm glad I purchased it.Update: June 19, 2021These cushions are fabulous. Ordered my 4th one, 18x18x3 Firm this time. Throwing away all those useless chair cushions and replacing with these. Honestly cannot say enough good things about this product. For years, I have searched for THE perfect memory foam cushion and seems The Princess and the Pea, finally met Goldilocks' perfect fit!Sincerely has reduced chronic back pain and the smaller size make excellent foot rests. Pretty soon, my husband is going to be padding the walls with these and throwing me in the well-lined room! ?Initially ordered the 18x18x3 Inch cushion and came back to order the 16x16x3 Inch cushion as well. Need one more, so will have to wait for a restock.Used daily and revised initial 4 star review, since the cushion is holding up much better than first thought. They bounce back overnight with a firm softness.Ordered the soft cushion and surprisingly, it's a little firmer than anticipated, which is not a bad thing. Not sure how long it will last, as it is already losing shape, after less than a month of use.Finding decent foam cushions is always a hassle and frankly, I never expect any cushion to last more than a year. The cover is great and the non-slip bottom is a nice touch.Overall, so far so good and a better option than many others I've tried over the years.Comfort and quality are the most important features to me and both are there with these cushions. They fit very well on my kitchen counter stools. Highly recommend to anymore needing both comfort and quality. Will upload a picture soon
